In order for the Warren Striders Track Club, Inc. to continue its annual summer program, its continued efforts to send its national caliber student athletes to over ten competitions throughout the state and U.S. and its strategic building project initiatives for the Deemer Park improvements and the construction of a state-of-the art fitness and training facility. Expenses not covered by fundraising efforts must be offset by the athlete, their parents sponsors and /or grants. Many club members are from economically disadvantaged situations and cannot participate in all events without financial support. Furthermore, the Deemer Park facilities, are inadequate for expansive club sponsored activities. In addition, there is no local facility that provides a state-of-the art indoor running track, with field events for training, competition and spectator viewing, nor other multipurpose uses at low cost; The following are some of the creative and flexible ways to invest in the Warren Striders Track Club, Inc: The Giving Clubs: Gold Medal Club, Partners Program, Starters Program, Corporate matching gifts; supporting WSTC Sponsored fund raisers: car wash, Jog-A-Thon, Annual Kiddies Meet, advertising agreements, etc. The Warren Striders are seeking sponsors and financial contributors for the program to prosper.
